Job Description:

This is an opportunity to join Enterprise platform operations team. Enterprise platform operations team's charter is to maintain a reliable and state of the art system landscape for the Business. Team manages a large, hybrid system landscape, comprising of several SAP and other applications (SAP - ECC, CRM, SCM, GTS, MES, S4C, CPQ, C4C, Salesforce and others), supporting many Business functions e.g. Sales & Marketing, Order Management, Finance, Supply chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Service and Customer call centers. Team is responsible to maintain system landscape, ensure Security and compliance, lead stewardship projects e.g. upgrades and develop solution enhancements. Team is distributed at several locations across the world for effective 24X7 coverage.



SAP MES is used for manufacturing operations at major manufacturing sites across the world. SAP MES COE supports 24/7 MES PRD systems, new MES processes rollouts, machine integrations and enhancements.



This is a role with many responsibilities; You will be working on multiple tasks at any given time, based on organization goals and priorities, aligned with Company and IT objectives.



Primary Responsibilities:

Work closely with MES end user teams in rolling out new processes, adding more product lines to MES and implementing machine integrations using MII and PCo. Ensure enhancements follow Best practice guidelines and system scales well with incremental workload.
Act as project lead for MES implementations, enhancements and continuous improvement. Lead team to Design, develop, test and implement MES processes, from start to finish.
Provide L3 end-user support (diagnosing, Troubleshooting and resolving) in real time for critical issues.
Provide oversight to MES support partner team to ensure MES PRD support SLAs and other expectations are met.
Research new technology developments and remain abreast of industry standards and best practices in MES and related areas. Provide consulting to senior management on MES/SAP initiatives.

Qualifications:

Four-year college degree, in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study.
6-8 years' experience in SAP ME/MII/PCO Implementation / Solutions design / Development. Will consider experience in Non-SAP MES implementations or development.
Ability to understand business strategy, analyze business processes and develop technical solutions to support the business objectives.
Experienced in scoping, requirements gathering/definition, configuration/development , testing, cutover and support.
Project management experience using Agile and or other methodologies. Experience of working in DEVOPS model highly desirable.
Team management experience (6-10 members or larger teams); distributing tasks, providing oversight and guidance, and delivering on goals.
