We are looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance & Automation Engineer to work on NVIDIA's cloud based gaming solution - GeForce NOW. The position will be part of the GeForce NOW Software QA org and will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools for a multitude of platforms including Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and Chrome.We need an engineer with a background in test automation and infrastructure development on various platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include test plan review, script development, test execution (both automated and manual), bug filing and triaging, code coverage analysis together with our software engineering and other QA teams.What you'll be doing:Develop and execute test plans and automated test scriptsWork as a senior engineer on various operating systems and interact with other multi-site team members (India, China, & USA) during the product life cycle by participating in all stages of software developmentDesign and build libraries, frameworks, user interfaces, tools for various OS's and architecturesRigorously drive test automation initiative. Build innovative ways to automate and expand our software testingExpose defects and constraints. Isolate the issues, drive for root cause. Contribute to the solution and drive closureCollaborate with software engineering and other QA teams to create & enhance automated tests and toolsConstantly look for opportunities to improve automation efficiency, optimize build and test speedExecute end-to-end black-box testing methodology on all supported GeForce NOW clients (Mac/Windows/Chrome browser/Android/Shield/iOS/TV)Execute production level and release candidate level test plans for GeForce NOW software releasesIdentify, record, document, and regress internal and external filed bugsWhat we need to see:B.S. or equivalent degree in CS/CE/EE (or equivalent experience)At least 4+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance engineer/Automation Test EngineerExperience using database tools for tracking test execution and logging bugs/issuesExcellent communication, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to work well with a team and in a fast paced/dynamic environmentSolid programming background with Python, Java, C#Deep understanding of QA methodologies including triaging, debugging, automating, and testingExperience deploying automated testing for performance, UI, features, stability, and other product oriented needsFamiliar with product life cycle and agile development methodologiesWays to stand out from the crowd: Experience in Android/iOS automation and system handlingExperience in TV WebOSXCode experience will be a plusExperience with source control systems such as Perforce and Git is a plusKnowledge of continuous integration is preferredNVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
