Job Description:

Roche Molecular Systems, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer in Test in its Santa Clara, California location.Within a global biotechnology company, write, execute, document, and maintain software automation test plans and test cases. Design, develop, and configure automated software testing tools, frameworks, and systems using Java, JUnit, Jenkins, TestNG, Postman, Hibernate, Spring, JavaScript, Linux, Selenium, Protractor, SOAP UI and other technologies. Write database queries using Postgres. Build reusable infrastructure to streamline and drive high test coverage, to ensure there are test cases covering entire set of functional and non-functional requirements. Write code that is automation testable, reliable, secure, maintainable, performant, and reusable. Extend software automation testing as needed. Participate in design and code reviews for automated software components and features. Keep abreast of developments and technologies in the field. Collaborate with cross functional teams such as User Experience and Product Management to define software automation product deliverables. Participate in requirements gathering and analysis. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.Education and experience required: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Test Engineer, System Consultant, Quality Assurance Engineer or related role.Special Requirements: Must have 2 years' experience with: Design and evaluate automation frameworksPerformance testing using JMeterCloud technologies as applied to testing and operationUser Interface automation using Selenium, Java and Test NGWorksite: 2841 Scott Blvd., Santa Clara, California, 95050, United States This position is eligible for Roche Molecular Systems, Inc.'s incentive-based Employee Referral Program.
