**Your Career**
As a Sr. Technical Product Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, you will work with cutting-edge technology, redefining the future of cortex.
This role plays a key role in supporting our product managers, marketing teams, and customers by developing outbound technical communication, including product best practices, competitive reviews, demo environments, and ownership of product betas. You will perform competitive analysis, perform technical gap analysis, and support product management in identifying next-generation innovations. This is a critical customer-facing role within the company and one where the right person can have a significant impact.
The ideal candidate would be able to influence strategy, collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies, act as a thought leader at the industry level, and evangelize the products and product strategy both internally and externally.
**Your Impact**
+ Work with sales, marketing, product management, customers, and additional teams to promote and bring innovation to the security space via Cortex XSIAM
+ Support sales processes, POCs, and discussions with prospective customers
+ Provide short term support for large customers if technical escalations are needed
+ Coordinate and lead ambitious projects in a multi-functional capacity with other teams
+ Write and create high-quality customer facing, partner facing, and sales facing collateral and presentations
+ Attend trade shows to educate employees and partners on core product differences and advantages
+ Build positive relationships both internally and externally to ensure a daring edge, always staying ahead of the competition
**Your Experience**
+ At least 4 years of SIEM experience, including
+ Deep understanding of how SIEMs works
+ Experience in creating custom collections and data parsing
+ Experience in creating complex correlation rules, reports and dashboard
+ Experience in integration and implementation of SIEMs
+ Experience in building SOC workflows
+ Experience in incident response
+ Nice to have - Experience working with EDR or SOAR tools
+ Experience in project management and supporting large enterprise networks
+ Experience with scripting
+ Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with strong presentation abilities
+ Strong customer advocacy skills and experience, ability to work in difficult customer situations
+ Experience with production lab or data center experience with application staging and maintenance a plus

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $125,800/yr to $203,500/yr.
