bit about us: Well-funded startup is looking for IP Technologists
to join their growing team! You will be at the forefront of mining,
analyzing, and managing the knowledge of their patent software and
portfolio. This involves possessing a broad and deep knowledge of
technologies relevant to the video ecosystem, with a deep focus on
the key technologies enabling end-to-end creation, management,
delivery, and consumption of digital media content. Your expertise
will encompass areas such as video delivery, cloud computing and
virtualization, content delivery networks, video/content analytics,
advertising technologies and platforms, media consumption devices,
content securitization, video processing and delivery, content
discovery, and OS/middleware platforms Why join us? Base salary

Requirements Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with
key enabling technologies related to digital media content
creation, management, delivery, and consumption. Graduate degree
(preferably Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,
Physics, or other relevant technical discipline. Proven track
record in patent licensing and complex technologies within the
technology industry. Deep expertise in DTV/OTT markets, technology,
product architectures, and associated trends. Experience supporting
the intellectual property function within a technology company.
Demonstrated experience in mining, analyzing patents (US/foreign),
and creating high-quality claim charts. Strong leadership
experience and ability to build constructive relationships with
technical communities and senior management. Passionate about the
success of the IP function, with strong interpersonal skills and
the ability to communicate technology and patents effectively to
various audiences. Superior intellectual capability with a proven
ability to handle intellectually challenging experiences. Ability
to multi-task, demonstrate hands-on ownership of problems, and use
external legal resources as appropriate. Willingness to travel
domestically and internationally (approximately 25% of the time).
