As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for organizational and management effectiveness while creating a productive and engaging work experience for employees. This position serves as a senior consultant to leaders and managers on HR issues and acts as a change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR related needs and partners across the HR functions to deliver value-added services to management and employees that help the organization meet its business objectives. The Senior HR Business Partner also maintains an effective level of business literacy about the company’s strategy, mid-to-long range objectives, financial position, culture and competition.

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources in Phoenix, this individual will support the Product & Technology organization based in Santa Clara, CA with teams in Kansas City, Fairfax, Phoenix, Boston and India.

Responsibilities: Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions and programs for organizations the HR Business Partner supports

Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Works closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, communication, and employee engagement to increase productivity and retention.

Provides guidance on organizational changes, workforce planning and succession planning.

Diagnoses areas of inefficiency and under performance at all levels of the organization. Recommends action to overcome those barriers to execution and company success.

Assists in driving various HR initiatives: performance management, goal setting, merit review process, and manager and employee career development.

Identifies training needs for client groups and individual executive coaching needs.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related business field

10+ years of proven work experience as an HR Business Partner

Demonstrated experience in Strategic HR, Workforce Planning and Change Management

Strong influence and coaching skills plus experience working with senior leaders and employees that are located remotely

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices

Knowledge of employment/labor law

Strong business acumen

Prior experience as HR business partner for a highly dynamic growth organization

Experience in financial services/fintech/tech industry Prior managerial experience
