Job Description:
Role Automation Engineer with C++ Coding Location Mountain View,
CA Job Description Develop detailed test plans, test cases and test
automation scripts to validate numerous artifacts, features such as
wireless connectivity, coexistence, ethernet, networking, audio,
display, video, Controller Area Network CAN bus control signals
etc. Perform regression tests alongside the change list in
development production software. Smoke test on day-to-day software
builds. Produce detailed test reports, automated test reporting,
defect tracker and test campaign tracking functions. Joint
debugging and diagnosis sessions with software development
engineers involving various automotive infotainment modules. Work
closely with intra inter teams both HW SW development, validation
and QA Test teams within Waymo to reproduce, debugging,
troubleshoot issues. Review test plans and test results, maintain a
tracker sheet of all customer blocker, priority issues.
Qualifications Bachelorrsquos degree in computer science,
engineering, related field. 3 or more years of experience in
Consumer electronics, Automotive or Aerospace electronics or
related industries that involve embedded systems with
displaystouch, audio, video, high speed communication interfaces,
radio frequency RF related work, etc. Excellent written verbal
communication skills.
