Job Description:The job family spans across multiple engineering disciplines. Work consists of designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting and debugging systems, software and solutions for research and/or research development of product, services, and solutions for company's portfolio. Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies and tools.Responsibilities:

• Develops strategy and technology roadmaps for design and development of complex products, platforms, systems, software, and technology across multiple engineering disciplines, platforms, Global Business Units, and the company at large.
• Communicates strategy and technology roadmaps to executive staff, industry partners and customers; leverages recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision- making at the highest organizational levels.
• Provides consultation, design input, and feedback for new product development and design reviews across multiple organizations and architectures.
• Guides and mentors less- experienced staff members to set an example of engineering design innovation and excellence.
• Participates in and provides input on process for selection of future technical leaders.Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Typically 15+ years experience.Knowledge and Skills:
    • Industry expert regarding engineering product design, development, standards, and architectures.
    • History of innovation with multiple examples of developing industry- leading technologies and practices for designs.
    • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Designing and integrating technologies, solutions, and practices into overall product architecture.
    • History of innovation with multiple examples of developing industry- leading technologies and practices for designs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
