We are actively recruiting a Sr Manager, HR Mergers & Acquisitions Integration!

Overview

Applied Materials' Total Rewards team is looking for an experienced professional for the position of Senior Manager, HR Mergers & Acquisitions Integration. Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards, this role will be responsible for managing acquisition/integration activities specific to HR. Your primary responsibility will be to support the M&A team throughout the acquisition process - from target identification to integration.

Our ideal candidate is a top performer who can motivate and inspire large and diverse teams, is able to manage multiple projects on a real-time basis, is comfortable with ambiguity and has a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve operational and integration challenges. Experience working in a matrix organization a plus and strong customer relationship skills required.

  • Support of HR due diligence and integration/separation activities, including providing project management support on multiple acquisitions, divestitures and other company transactions.
  • Develop project plans and track progress against plans while communicating updates to the M&A project team members
  • Work with HR groups to review HR data including salary, headcount, etc
  • Manage vendor partners as part of project teams
  • Work with HR M&A team to identify lessons learned and process improvements to support continuous improvement of HR M&A playbook.
  • Support and/or own HR M&A capability building projects including development of training materials for HR teams supporting deal activity.

Job Specific Knowledge

  • Extensive M&A related experience specific to Human Resources
  • Experience working in a global technology company preferred
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience working internationally and in virtual teams

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong program/project management skills
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional business leaders to achieve difficult objectives.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and gain the trust of project stakeholders
  • Excels at working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues either in person or virtually
  • Comfortable working in a fluid and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to absorb, analyze and process large quantities of disparate information and synthesize quickly with attention to detail.

Education

  • Minimum: BS/BA
  • Preferred: MBA/Master's Degree
  • 10-12+ years related experience
