What we're looking for:

Reporting to the Head of Office of Business Strategy, you will lead sophisticated business projects crucial to the executive leadership team. As the Strategic Programs Director, your thinking, insights, and results will directly affect the overall strategy and success of a world-leading technology business that is changing the way the world works. This position will support the corporate fact base behind our corporate strategy. The ideal candidate possesses a compelling blend of business insight, business strategy experience, big-picture thinking, influencing skills, and ability to collaborate with a large number of internal and external partners.
Your Role

Advise and develop the insights, implications, and imperatives for the business, collaborating cross-functionally across external and internal partners, including operations, sales, marketing, finance, product, engineering, and HR Drive projects to explore innovative approaches and business models to extend Citrix technology leadership and customer relevance, helping our Strategy Office guide the decision-making, execution, and investments to make those opportunities a reality Build frameworks that allow us to operationalize and scale better decisions Work closely with cross-functional leadership to formulate long-term strategic priorities and plans related to organic and inorganic growth strategy, emerging industry trends, driven dynamics, opportunity sizing and validation, and buyer dynamics Lead team of business analysts and market analysts Become a specialist in our business and have a deep understanding on the markets we serve, customer needs, audience trends, partner drivers, and competitor developments Explore highly complex problems, gain and share insight into key strategic issues, and form relationships with people across the entire organization Track competitive trends with focus on ground-breaking threats, changing audiences and preferences, growth channels, win-loss comparisons, differentiation Identify and drive cross-division and functional alliances and projects Be comfortable with uncertainty and sophisticated problems, and constitutionally geared toward solving, doing, learning.
Preferred Qualifications
Must have prior experience building and advising the building of financial, predictive, and scenario models, sizing markets, writing case studies, and articulating business cases Possess strong analytical and financial abilities (including experience translating corporate filings into insights), to work on sophisticated business issues; experience working on corporate fact base necessary Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills to work with senior executives across various geographies Possess good solid understanding of high-tech industry. Validated leader who thrives in fast-paced, high growth environments Senior level experience in all areas of strategy development, including project management, business analysis, problem solving, consensus building, data visualization, and people development Effective verbal and written communication ability with both business and technical discussions with senior audiences, including Board of Director level presentation experience Experience in building positive relationships and influencing others Eagerness to learn and curiosity about what comes next for biggest business impact; passionately engages and works cross-functionally to get things done. Solution mentality, thrilled by life in the grey of unknowing Manager level experience at major Strategy Consulting firm. Technology proven experience is a plus. High interest in tech industry is required Business, analytics, quantitative Bachelor degree and MBA degree preferred. See Experience for other qualification requirements.
Basic Qualifications
BA from top tier university; MBA from a top tier institution preferred 8+ years experience including an Engagement Manager or Associate Partner at a leading Management Consulting firm
