Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. KPMG is currently seeking a Senior SOA Developer in Customer & Operations for our Healthcare Solutions practice.

Responsibilities:

+ Engage projects as a Senior Developer of web or data exchange services at the web, middle, or data tier of multi-tiered applications in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

+ Perform technical design, development, unit and integration testing of SOA resources created; ensure SOA resources meet the business needs and are working as designed

+ Work with a team of professionals to produce related project deliverables on a scheduled basis and also produce project deliverables yourself

+ Work closely with other technical members of the team to support SOA processes and translate requirements to SOA technical design, develop and unit test the SOA components as well as assist with deployment of developed components

+ Both agile and waterfall SDLC methodologies may be utilized

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 3 years of recent experience doing SOA development, including full-stack or middleware service development experience; Oracle SOA certified preferred

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in technical sciences or information systems

+ Hands on experience with XML modeling, Java, Database programming required; demonstrated experience applying Service Oriented Architecture principles using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology, Web Service Interface development and orchestrated SOA workflow using Business Process Execution Language (BPEL)

+ Experience with CICD tools like BitBucket, Bamboo / Jenkins and ant /maven scripting preferred

+ In depth knowledge of Web service (SOAP, REST, or FHIR), JMS preferred

+ An understanding of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) with a commercial solution vendor or state IT organization is helpful

+ Ability to travel up to 80%
