Ferrotecs Digital Transformation will enable and empower all stakeholders (customers, employees, suppliers and investors) to generate useful and meaningful business information to drive improved business and operations decision making and is a key driver of competitive differentiation. The intention is therefore to create new, innovative, unified and simple tools and processes to optimally leverage the massive amounts of raw data generated by the existing business processes and systems in the company.


Oversees IT and IS Team for all of North America

Creates a vision for Digital Transformation that supports the long term growth plan of the Company.

Creates Vision and Mission at the highest level, company-wide, to realize digital transformation as a significant competitive differentiator

Sets and implements digital strategy by working with cross-functional partners to map and transition legacy processes to digital

Ensures that all relevant digital initiatives are fully integrated into the strategic planning process for leadership commitment, resource allocation and execution

Partners with peers, cross functional team leaders, stakeholders, process owners and subject matter experts to identify process, systems and tools that can be standardized

Be a change management leader driving adoption of best practices and tools across the organization

Maintains documentation and publishes metrics to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of activities across the Digital Transformation Team

Measures ROI on digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure optimal investment in the right tools and resources

Applies Lean and Agile principles to deliver measurable outcomes every 3-4 months for a given long-term strategic initiative

Provides expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems requirements and procedures that are cost effective, meet user requirements and consider data quality requirements

Trains internal teams to use digital technologies

Works closely with HR to attract and retain top talent, and to build digital capabilities across the company

IT modernization - Guides IT departments to work closely with the leadership team and determine which tools are best suited to their needs. Given that the optimum tools can deliver a competitive advantage, ITs role is becoming more directly involved with business strategy

Creates a streamlined employee experience

Guide integration of supply planning systems with ERP (Oracle) as well as other external systems. This may include transformation of ERP data, write back to ERP with planning data and transferring data to/from planning system to external non-Oracle systems

Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated system solutions involving supply planning systems and execution systems (ERP). Partner with business counterparts to collaborate and give guidance on best practices utilizing data from a supply planning tool

Design and implement Capacity Planning Tool and Lead Times dashboard for all product lines shipped from the factories

Responsible for guiding automation process solutions for scheduling of all products up to Manufacturing and Supply Chain constraints to optimize factory resources and milestone management for all shipments throughout value stream and shipment and closure of all open back orders

Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems requirements and procedures that are cost effective, meet user requirements and consider data quality requirements



  • Solid literacy on Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management and Manufacturing Operations, especially with domain expertise in the supply chain, manufacturing processes and industry- leading practices

  • Ability to lead and develop a team with a continuous improvement mindset; strong people management skills that not only foster an environment of team success, but also individual accomplishments

  • Excellent cross-functional leadership capability; success in influencing a wide spectrum of stakeholders including senior management, peers and others from different business areas

  • Confident and dedicated technology leader who can lead all phases of digital/ business transformation initiatives whilst mentoring and motivating teams, successfully creating and implementing a (digital) change agenda.

  • Ensures execution of complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives, including scope, timeline and budget

  • Analytics experience & mindset. Ability to use large amount of data and convert it into meaningful and actionable insights. Familiarity with visualization tools like Power BI is a plus

  • Technology knowledge Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. APS (Advanced Planning System) such as IBP or Kinaxis or other software is a plus.

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep domain knowledge in Supply Chain, be able to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, and have excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Bachelors degree, Masters (MBA, Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain or other Operational discipline) preferred in a Multi-National Company (MNC) environment

  • 10-15+ years in relevant operational disciplines, with cross-functional experience preferred

  • Experience in working directly with VP or higher level executives

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, excellent executive presence

  • Strong business acumen, relationship skills and the ability to speak with data

  • Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred with demonstrated competence in scientific problem solving

  • Ability to influence in a matrix organization across Business Units

  • Agility the ideal candidate actively prioritizes and manages through multiple priorities, quickly and smoothly
