Palo Alto Networks is seeking a seasoned leader to lead a team
of compensation partners & analysts who guide and consult to client
groups across the company in all compensation related matters. This
leader will be a key strategic partner for multiple Business
leaders and People Business Partners (PBPs) and our Talent
Acquisition (TA) organization and is expected to be able to
actively negotiate and influence outcomes that support the
corporate compensation and people philosophy as well as the
The team consults to client groups across the company in all
compensation related matters in four main areas:
Compensation Consulting: Partner with PBPs and Leaders of each
area of the business to deliver real-time, business-relevant
compensation solutions in support of achieving our business
Operational Decision Support: Consult directly with TA, Leaders
and PBPs to make individual decisions (e.g., new hire offers, pay
planning decisions) that are competitive, fair and inline with our
overall compensation philosophy.
Compensation Analytics: Leverage available internal and external
systems and tools to proactively identify client group relevant
trends; and ensure we are effectively utilizing our comp systems to
reward performance and drive retention.
- Program Management: Partner with Global Comp leadership team in
the successful development, implementation, communication and
roll-out of all Global Comp programs (e.g., annual pay planning,
market benchmarking) and initiatives within each function.
