Who We Need:

Malwarebytes is looking for a pro-active, driven, analytic thinker to lead our marketing analytics team. You are a natural collaborator who can develop and execute a robust analytics strategy that will push our marketing team to make data driven decisions. Youre comfortable gathering input from internal stakeholders and adept and working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams. You know how to knock down obstacles and you find ways to solve problems rather than saying it cant be done. Youre a seasoned analytics professional, able to leverage the latest data and martech tools. You play to win but love to do it as a team. You develop and mentor your team members, but you also love diving into the analysis yourself.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead the marketing analytics team to create insights that help drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Continuously analyze our marketing funnel and provide recommendations to optimize marketing activities and ROI
  • Apply advanced analytic disciplines to financial, customer, marketing, and product-level analyses
  • Collaborate with our growth marketing teams to analyze strategies, experiments, and outcomes focused on growing our consumer and enterprise businesses
  • Partner with our sales operations team to assess campaign effectiveness, marketing ROI, and engagement with our customers
  • Develop executive level dashboards and reports that enable business leaders to make more informed strategic decisions
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to solve complex business issues and enable growth
  • Advocate for disciplined, data-driven thinking throughout the marketing organization
  • Bring a passion for analytics, continuous learning, and big data to our team

Skills Youll Need to Have:

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • At least 10+ years of experience working in an analytics function with technology companies
  • Proven experience building a world-class marketing analytics team in a fast-paced environment that delivers actionable analysis and recommendations
  • Significant experience with Salesforce.com, Google Analytics, and Marketo is required
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing processes, tools, and funnel analytics
  • Passion for building the right data visualizations, metrics dashboards, and reports through tools such as DOMO, Looker, Tableau
  • Advanced expertise writing SQL to query relational databases
  • Experience with data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data science techniques
  • Experience working with customer data platforms (CDP)
  • Proficiency with Excel / financial modeling (pivot tables, lookups, data linking)
  • Experience in managing analytics projects from inception to delivery, including developing structured frameworks and solutions
  • Adept at explaining technical concepts and analysis implications to varied audiences and translating business objectives into analyses
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a sense of urgency to deliver on goals
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals in various functional areas and various levels of management including C-level executives
