To achieve this, we employ some of the best, brightest and most talented people in the world who work together as part of a winning team.The supplier engineer (SE) is responsible for providing technical leadership to the assigned suppliers and managing overall supplier quality management systems, ensuring process controls are established and adhered to throughout the supplier's entire manufacturing process and supply chain. The SE engages early in product development, providing drawing/design input and conducting first builds with the supplier to establish a robust, repeatable quality product. The SE supports customer and factory escalations by driving supplier corrective actions.The SE team is a supportive, cross-functional team with many different skillsets and experiences, lending itself to many learning opportunities from within the team. Additionally, Applied Materials has extensive internal and external training programs offering various certifications and development opportunities tailored specifically for the engineer's skill sets and goals.
