Senior Manager, Data Center Engineering

NVIDIA's Cloud data centers host ground-breaking products across
high-performance computing to machine learning applications for
autonomous vehicles and healthcare. At the heart of our data
centers is the ability to engineer data centers in close coupling
to NVIDIA's industry-leading GPU and DGX products. We are seeking a
Senior Manager to lead Mechanical Engineering to design innovative
data center solutions in alignment with the latest NVIDIA
What you'll be doing:
Collaborate with product owners, technical leads to identify and
collect requirements for our next-generation data centers.
Build, supervise, and execute long-term plans including
schedules, resourcing, and checkpoints.
Collaborate with data center industry groups on industry
Lead planning with key internal partners on capacity demands in
alignment with engineering roadmaps and data center expansions
Support Cloud and GeForce Now environments aligning expansions,
R&D, and hardware releases
Collaborate with Nvidia teams to improve data center
Continuously improve your team's processes and methodologies
- Continuously mentor and develop the engineers on your team
What we need to see:
B.S. in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering degree
(or equivalent experience)
5+ years of working as an engineering manager
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in data center
Extensive experience with data center cooling infrastructure:
HVAC system, Chilled Water Systems, Condenser Water Systems, Pump
controls, Glycol/Glycols, AHU units (DX, split, RTU, CRAH, etc.),
heat exchangers, Raised Floor Systems, HOT/COLD aisle
Have a clear picture of when it makes sense to adjust hardware
or software to resolve an issue, and are able to participate in
discussions across multiple levels of physical and software
considerations relating to data center designs.
You will have outstanding long-term project planning and
execution skills to carry our data center lifecycle planning.
Proficient in generating impactful metrics, reports, and
dashboards to highlight project health and status.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to
effectively lead multi-functional teams to solve sophisticated
Deep problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership to
resolve unpredicted technical issues.
