The CS Large Construction Program Manager is responsible for
delivering multi-year, diverse construction projects using a
variety of different project delivery and execution strategies
adhering to the Intel Construction Management Policies (CMP); this
includes oversight for all aspects of our large construction
projects, including project scope development, planning, managing
execution, budget control, schedule control, commissioning, and
project endorsement to the requester.
CS Large Construction Program Manager will promote safety,
procedural adherence, operational excellence and result orientation
as foundational practices for large construction projects as well
as providing leadership, issue resolution, and technical guidance
The CS Large Construction Program Manager will partner with
construction project managers and CS Site Managers to ensure
successful delivery of our large construction projects. Projects
include large construction projects ranging from new building
construction, existing building modifications, construction of
critical environment data centers, and major reliability upgrades.
Projects will be within the AMR region some travel may be required.
The Large Construction Program Manager is also responsible for
ensuring projects and suppliers are complying with Intel safety and
construction management practices. The Large Construction Program

As a CS Large Construction Program Manager your responsibilities
will include but are not limited to:
Accountable for all aspects of the leadership and management of
large construction projects.
Responsible for improving and following established construction
business processes as well as coaching and influencing teams.
Oversight of multiple construction projects through their full
life cycle (initiation, planning, execution, and closeout) while
ensuring the projects adhere to Intel's Construction Management
Lead breakthroughs in construction capability through sourcing
and developing contractor companies and making improvements in
integrated construction solutions and reductions in cost of
Must develop and grow strong relationships with internal
customers/stakeholders and construction suppliers
Responsible for clear alignment amongst stakeholders, customers,
and management for each project and defining successful indicators
based on project scope and customer needs prior to project
Formally requesting Strategic and Ops Capital CPA funding based
on program needs, in partnership with finance
Finance and procurement strategy alignment and interaction to
proceed according to construction management practices and
supporting RFP process for specific project negotiations.
Build teams with contractors, suppliers, system owners and
stakeholders to define project execution plans.
Review all proposals, provide analyses of technical validity,
and contribute to the negotiations of prime services contracts and

Review and track the project schedule against the critical path
and perform variance analyses to ensure impacts are minimized and
the schedule is maintained.

Contractor, Architect/Engineer, and the Client's sub-tier vendors

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be
initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications
are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a

- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management, or
another related Engineering degree with 10+ years of experience in
Engineering or Construction Management or a Master's degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction
Management, or another related Engineering degree with 7+ years of
experience in Engineering or Construction Management.
- 6+ years of experience in design and construction and project
management with a Project Management Certification (PMP).
- 6+ years of Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera)
- 6+ years of experience with construction management, start-up,
and commissioning/turnover of facilities systems.
