eHealth's Corporate Strategy and Development team works on highly visible, direction-setting strategy and acquisition initiatives at the corporate level and across all of eHealth's businesses. The team is focused on sourcing, negotiating, structuring, and executing impactful acquisitions and partnerships to drive growth and/or operational excellence.

The Corporate Development & Strategy Senior Analyst provides analytical support to drive acquisition decisions, partnership opportunities and critical strategic initiatives. The Senior Analyst will perform cross-functional business analysis, develop data-driven insights and recommendations, maintain critical operational reports and report on competitive landscape & market trends. This is a very visible position with direct line of sight to the CFO and other senior executives. It is essential that the individual selected for this position be able to establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization, and be viewed as a team player. The position reports to the VP, Corporate Strategy and Development and has significant impact on the company's performance and strategy.

We are looking for someone who can be a key member of our diverse global team, supporting M&A, partnerships and the highest priority strategic initiatives. This candidate should be highly curious with a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles who will collaborate closely with a variety of business units in a dynamic and fast paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and integrity.

How you will make an impact:

  • Supports strategic planning process, assessment review and identification of opportunities to support growth and/or operational excellence
  • Conducts valuation and pro forma analysis, understanding the impact of various financial levers for a transaction or partnership, including revenue modeling, expense planning, synergies, and capital investment sizing
  • Leads competitive analysis, impact of industry trends to tie financial impact with operational understanding to drive data-driven decision making
  • Collaborates with FP&A on the Company's forecast and five-year plan to ensure to alignment with strategic initiatives & overall strategy
  • Partners with IR, BD and Product on peer benchmarking, market share analysis, opportunity sizing and business case support
  • Supports execution of M&A, strategic partnership and capital raising processes from end-to-end, including valuation analysis, internal approval, marketing, due diligence, negotiation, and documentation

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree from a top tier undergrad program in a business or quantitative discipline including but not limited to finance, economics, accounting
  • 5+ total years of work experience in investment banking, private equity/venture capital, management consulting, corporate strategy or FP&A

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong teamwork, partnership and proven cross functional collaboration skillset
  • Demonstrated experience in M&A, capital market and/or strategic advisory transactions
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Deep financial acumen, including mastery of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies with proven success in building financial/forecasting models
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with impact across varied audiences, ability to analyze large amounts of data, synthesize into clear and concise take-aways
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to rapidly changing priorities to address the most critical issues on a timely basis
  • Ability to quickly grasp company operations and business drivers
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a great sense of ownership around the work that is being done
  • Knowledge of healthcare, insurance or DTC marketplace sectors preferable
