Being part of our team in Portfolio Business Development (PBD)
offers the opportunity to help drive and shape Intel's success in a
critical new adjacency for Intel's strategy - discrete graphics.
Our team (Portfolio Business Development) is within the Business
Management Group (BMG) org. BMG is part of SMG and is an operation
focused group. It is responsible for setting the price, forecasting
the market demand, allocating the supply, and optimizing the PnLs
for CPUs (Central Processing Units) and other products that
constitute nearly all of Intel's revenue. PBD is focused on
standing-up new businesses and driving alternate revenue streams
aligned with Intel's ambition to grow the annual revenue. Major
deliverables for PBD include setting up the BMG functions for Intel
discrete graphics products across the data center and client,
pricing strategies and sales operations for Autonomous Driving and
navigating non-standard sales terms and deals in new/growth
The Discrete Graphics Demand Analyst role offers a unique
opportunity to use your skills to have a material impact on Intel's
next billion-dollar business.
Your responsibilities may include:
Project Execution: Product lines include discrete graphics for
PC Client (Desktop, Notebook, Add In Card) and Data Center
(Accelerators for the Compute, Inference, Graphics and Media
Be part of the team developing a Center Of Excellence for the
new discrete graphics Supply Demand Operations (SDO) in the
Business Management (BMG)/Sales and Marketing Group (SMG). Become
an acknowledged expert in the organization through a deep
understanding of discrete Graphics accelerators, business
strategies, product usage models, supply chains, analyses of
current and historical market conditions and customer purchasing
Key responsibilities and deliverables include working closely
with partner organizations in BMG, SMG and the business units to
develop monthly judged demand forecasts, consensus demand, product
mix and demand shaping strategies.
Develop a framework to improve Supply Demand Operations decision
making by leveraging industry research and inputs, macroeconomic
and manufacturing data, sell-in, sales out, inventory, competitive
analyses, adjacencies and other drivers of supply and demand.
Influence organizational strategy via supporting exec State of
the Business update forums to Business Unit and SMG partners on
broad market dynamics and our strategies for client and data
Collaborate with our Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and memory
operations teams in BMG and Global Supply Chain (GSC) to drive
synergistic recommendations that will drive wafer starts, memory
buys and a competitive supply chain.
- Ensure process compliance and Keep Intel legal, driving process
improvement initiatives where needed.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to deliver
required results and develop successful partnerships for our
overall business by working closely and effectively with product
planning, product marketing, finance, competitive analysis, sales,
marketing, BMG and GSC.
Must exhibit a high degree of business maturity and ability to
communicate effectively at senior management levels.
Strong self-initiative and persistence, ability to deal with
ambiguity and drive clarity in key areas.
- Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills.
History of building trusted advisor relationships with customers
and business partners.
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible
