Trade Finance, Sr. Advisor
Job Description Summary:
The Sr. Trade Finance Business Advisor will be reporting
directly to the Director and Trade Finance Manager.
The responsibilities include but not limited to:
Work independently with general guidance from the Director and
Trade Finance Manager.
Covering one complex trade finance products.
Partner with Commercial Bank and Product Advisors to define
client needs and ensure existing product meet client needs and are
Structure standby and import letters of credit and
Provide response to queries, sound advice, guidance and/or
recommendations on trade finance matters in relation to
interpretation of letter of credit terms and rules to internal and
external clients in a timely, accurate manner and cost effective
Provide visibility to clients on their trade finance activities
and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Work closely with compliance, Legal, and Credit Administration
to address and resolve complex issues.
Resolve and/or mitigate the risks in the Global Trade Finance
products and services transactions.
Perform and process Trade Financing duties.
Apply the Compliance and Letter of Credit rules on the day to
Maintaining current client relationships and independently
handle complex client issues.
Assist in providing guidance to a more junior member of the

Skills and requirements:
Excellent Trade Finance and financial service background
required, with over 10 years in financial services of which minimum
8 years in Trade Finance.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
