Director, Supply Chain Engineering

We are now looking for a creative and experienced Director,
Supply Chain Engineering to join our Supply Chain Operations team.
As part of an Operations team you'll play a key role in launching
NVIDIA's designed board products - GPU , Automotive, Embedded,
What you'll be doing:
Represent Operations during early product life cycle and provide
manufacturability, quality, cost and yield impact information to
design, sourcing, and manufacturing engineering teams.
Collaborate and align industry leading global EMS Partners on
PCBA technology roadmap, manufacturing and inspection equipment
requirements, workmanship and quality standards, and shop floor
data systems to optimize business requirements around cost, quality
Exhibits a high level of energy to create support for
outsourcing and align critical success factors in EMS
Partner with subject matter authorities influence designs,
component sections to implement efficient and reliable
Establish DFx (ECAD-MCAD, PCBA, PCB) guidelines and standardize
DFx process across all board product types.
Develop and drive common DFx, NPI and manufacturing processes
and methods across different product types and different contract
Help pro-actively identify manufacturability risk areas, analyze
DFX feedback from EMS providers and recommend solutions during the
design cycle and drive mitigation plans.
Establish procedures/requirements to continuously monitor and
improve PCBA MFG process. Partner with ME/Business teams to define,
execute process window characterization experiments for process
Drive continuous alignment within NVIDIA global design and
manufacturing teams and CMs on new product MFG requirements
- Continuously mentor and develop engineers in your team.
What we need to see:
BSME/BSEE (or equivalent experience) with 20+ years of overall
10+ years of leading teams as a manager
SME in PCBA Manufacturing process and technology development
Providing inputs on new, alternative and improved manufacturing
DFx specialist in electrical, thermal and mechanical components
of a Board
A consistent track record of developing and deploying advance
complex board manufacturing methods and processes
Experience in driving global CMs to meet new product
Are you an authority in Design of experiments creation,
execution and data analysis?
Ability to manage ambiguity and create clarity, oversee multiple
Excellent communication skills with geographically diverse teams
and functional groups
Familiarity with datacenter and consumer related electronics
Master's in engineering a plus
