Our Service and Support Division is experiencing rapid growth! As the Northern CA Support Services Account Manager, you will be a key contributor to Agilent Life Sciences and Applied Markets Group (LSAG) service sales team. In this critical sales role, you will utilize your sales expertise and technical knowledge to sell high value service and support solutions to the Pharmaceutical, Chemical Analysis, and other industries. You will partner with your district support sales team, local sales reps, and customer service resources to develop new business both standard and customize offerings for underdeveloped mid-sized and large Agilent clients.


As the North America Support Sales team, we use our excellent sales track record to proactively design and implement a successful business sales strategy that drives sales volume, establish relationships at multiple levels within customers across the region, and gain market share against the competition!

Responsibilities include:

  • Opportunity management, including creation of a growth plan, development of local competitive knowledge and partnering with your support sales team as well as the local teams and resources
  • Identifying new business opportunities within the Agilent and competitive account base
  • Translate the value proposition of service as a financial and operational benefit to meet customer needs
  • Strategic Selling Focus, lead deal planning and drive account penetration for all support solutions in the account, competitively drive Agilent's presence and influence sales
  • Provide leadership with a cross-functional global matrix environment
  • Executive calling skills, network with executives within accounts to foster and facilitate business growth opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with other field sales, service delivery, and other business organizations to develop and implement account plans for strategic accounts within region
  • Must be available for up to 50% business travel within Northern CA
