What you will be doing:

  • As a system architect for NVIDIA's family of Server Products, you will participate in engineering projects and drive architecture of server systems from initial concept to final specification.
  • Work across engineering and manufacturing teams to define and execute system requirements from concept through large production deployments of server systems.
  • Work with counterparts from silicon, software, networking, and other teams to build a roadmap that guides development of future NVIDIA products.
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA's key system development and deployment partners to align on consistent strategies.
  • Monitor and participate in industry standards to represent NVIDIA's interests and help move the industry forward.
  • Seek opportunities to collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure industry roadmaps are aligned to our system management needs. What we need to see:
    • 10+ years of experience working in architecture of complex servers.
    • Deep understanding of hardware architecture and design of servers and the interaction between server architecture and at-scale datacenter deployment.
    • Solid grasp of server standards for management, security, networking, storage, etc.
    • Hands on experience in debugging hard problems that span software and hardware.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams.
    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields or equivalent experience. MS preferred. Ways to stand out from the crowd:
      • Experience with large projects involving co-development of custom processors or accelerators, systems and software.
      • Excellent understanding of processor architectures such as x86, ARM, RISC-V.
      • Familiarity with GPU compute and NVIDIA networking.
      • Understanding of manufacturing operations processes.
      • Experience with datacenter and cloud server deployments operations.
