For more information, visit Summary of Role: Reporting to the Vice President, Automotive Business at GlobalFoundries, the Sr. Manager for Business Operations will be responsible for helping drive the day-to-day execution operations for the business unit. This includes working with Key Work Partners in the Business Line, Finance and Operations, Sales (incl Sales Ops), Pricing to ensure the business has full visibility on achieving key metrics such as Revenue, Margin, Design Wins, TOR and NWR. The preferred location is Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA.

  • Understand market strategy for the Automotive Business at GF.
  • Own tracking of key business metrics by working with key stakeholders and other functions in the company.
  • Drive the business metrics to ensure we are achieving our goals from a revenue and profitability perspective
  • Drive ownership and accountability in responsible organizations such as Sales, Design Enablement, Manufacturing Fab, and Supply Chain to deliver data and information needed to ensure the P&L is on track.
  • Create a sense of urgency and drive clarity across multi-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Identify issues and address them head-on using data to move complex multi-site programs forward.
  • Ensure that all investments made on behalf of the Automotive business are prioritized, well understood, and tracked for success.
  • Quarter back the LRP yearly process as well as R&D allocation processes Other Responsibilities:
    • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs Required Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering or related field
      • 10+ Years of Experience in Semiconductor Product Company
      • Travel Requirements: Minimal Preferred Qualifications:
        • Master's Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration
