looking for a Liquid-Cooling and Thermal Chamber Lab Engineer in
the Datacenter Systems Team to support System and Board level
testing and debug of NVIDIA's datacenter products. This newest
member will collaborate with an innovative multidisciplinary
world-class team of engineers to help build and develop our
industry leading GPU accelerated computing products. In this role
you will gain a deep understanding of datacenter products as we
take on the challenge to solve complex technical issues, so there
will be plenty of opportunity for learning new skills related to
datacenter products and infrastructure. The primary responsibility
is to support our engineering teams during development to ensure
outstanding quality GPU server products may be released to the
market and delight our customers so that AI scientists and
datacenter operators can achieve their professional aspirations
using NVIDIA technology. The new lab team member will work
independently to complete daily tasks according to priorities,
demonstrate a passion towards system level product quality, and
should be comfortable in an engineering lab environment.What you'll
be doing:Set up and maintain benchtop and rack-based liquid-cooling
solutions such as CDUs to be used with development platforms and
server systems.Assemble, build and install benchtop development
platforms and large server systems.Perform liquid chemical
drain/purge/refill procedures.Train lab users on safe practices
when using liquid-cooling. Document and enforce following proper
procedures to maintain the highest level of personnel safely.Order
and manage lab supplies required for maintaining and operating
liquid-cooled systems.Operate and maintain a large walk-in thermal
chamber and set up server systems for testing.Maintain and organize
the lab equipment for efficiency and continuously look for ways to
improve lab processes.What We Need to See:BSEE, BSCS, BSCE or
equivalent experience2+ years of work experienceExperience with
selecting and installing CDUs. Connecting CDUs to boards in a
benchtop lab environment, and to systems in a datacenter.Experience
in trouble-shooting thermal chamber issues and coordinating with
the vendor on any needed repairs or service.Good attention to
detail, as well as strong teamwork and communicationsWays to stand
out from the crowd:Extensive knowledge of various CDUs in order to
customize an optimal solution for the lab environment involving
several prototype benchtop platforms.Experience programming thermal
chambers for various temperature and humidity testing
profiles.Experience with x86/ARM architectures and accelerated GPU
