information, visit .Summary of Role\:The objective of the
internship/Co-Op project is to develop code that utilizes machine
learning for DFM applications. Specifically, the intern will work
on a fast MAS (Manufacturability Analysis and Scoring) project. The
objective is to create and update code that will be used to predict
MAS Data for advanced node logic chips. The intern/Co-Op will work
directly with DFM applications for advanced technologies and will
be working with DFM engineers to create and verify updates to
experimental code. The intern will have the opportunity to learn
about DFM methodologies, advanced technology layouts, and advanced
lithography methods like double patterning. The assignment will
involve getting exposure to leading edge foundry EDA tools,
learning about design flows, and yield / design interaction.This
internship position will be based out of and support our Santa
Clara, CA location.Essential Responsibilities Include\:
- Writing and testing Python ML code for DFM applications
- Testing DFM apps for PDK release packagesOther
Responsibilities\:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and
support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
and programsQualification:Required Qualifications\:
- Education - MS Student enrolled in an accredited program in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering,
Computer Science, Physics, or related fields.
- Experience - Must have a minimum of 3 months Python programming
experience. Needs to be comfortable with working in UNIX
environments, knowledge of UNIX commands
- Travel - (no travel required)
- Language Fluency - English
- Physical Capacity Demands - Normal office requirements
-Preferred Qualifications\:
- VLSI design courses / experience
- Semiconductor Process Technology courses / experience
- Python ML kit programming experience
- Excellent academic standing.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivated; able to take ownership of assignments, develop
work plans and proactively seek feedback to ensure objectives are
