  • Be respectful of others Tasks/Responsibilities:
    • Help wireless product manufacturers to navigate the complex process of complying with radio performance testing requirements and ensuring that wireless and radio frequency (RF) products are compliant, compatible, and reliable
    • Establish new RF/OTA/Wireless/PTCRB/Carrier testing capabilities, including test plan and test cases
    • Generate valid and accurate OTA (Over-The-Air) wireless test results in accordance with ISO17025 standards and CTIA testing requirements
    • Responsible for reviewing OTA test results and preparing test reports according to CTIA
    • Maintenance of testing equipment to ensure quality and reliability of test results
    • Perform detailed analyses to determine root causes for technical issues by using radio frequency (RF) theory and antenna theory
    • Perform chamber range calibration and ripple testing and calculate measurement uncertainties
    • Provide training to test technicians Qualifications
      • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
      • PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Antenna, RF, or Electromagnetics is a plus
      • 8+ years experience in a technical/engineering discipline and 5+ years related experience Competencies:
        • Experience with anechoic chambers and radiation performance evaluation like TRP, TIS, & antenna efficiency
        • Experience with different lab equipment: network analyzers, signal generators, signal analyzers, call boxes (i.e. CMW), channel emulators
        • Experience with different wireless communication technologies such as GSM/GPRS/EDGE/LTE/5G mmWave, etc. including the corresponding system level specifications (e.g. ETSI 51.010, 51.05, etc.)
        • Experience with carrier/industry conformance radiated performance requirements like 3GPP, PTCRB, CTIA, Wi-Fi alliance
        • Experience with regulatory approvals like FCC, IC, CE, etc.
        • Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability communicate effectively in a group setting, with colleagues and clients
        • Ability to perform multiple tasks
        • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines
        • Demonstrate team leadership
        • Technical problem solving and process improvement skills Skills/Requirements:
