NVIDIA is hiring a Principal Custom SOC/IP RTL and Microarchitecture Lead to design and architect next generation SoC solutions. We are looking for special individuals with passion and desire to deliver innovative products. Together, we will build the next generation of life changing SoC's. If you are a motivated individual that understands how SoC systems are architected and built, has intimate knowledge of client requirements, and understand various development cycles, this is your place to be What you'll be doing: Develop custom microarchitecture and RTL for Nvidia SoCs in driving, 5G, cloud, gaming and other Nvidia customer applications. Developing microarchitecture specifications and RTL that bring together high-performance ARM CPUs, GPUs, custom accelerators and high speed interfaces, internal and external IP into a single chip or multiple chiplets. Develop microarchitecture with Software/Hardware co-design and collaboration on features set. Cross-disciplinary role, coordinating with SOC architects, IP architects, designers, verification, Physical Design, Software, DFT, VLSI, Security, Automotive Safety and platform teams on requirements and implementation. Capture requirements, create hardware specifications, conduct technical reviews, support customer documentation Review upstream product requirements, downstream specifications and verification plans in ASIC, software and/or platform to ensure requirements are followed. Create architectural validation plans and participate in reviews and results Improving processes and methodologies that improve team productivity and quality of deliverables What We Need to See Experience delivering SOC micro-architecture, RTL design and/or verification experience with latest ARM processors, Network-on-Chip, DDR subsystems, PCI, GPU and high speed I/O interfaces. Strong knowledge and industry expertise in multiple aspects of SoC microarchitecture definition and RTL implementation such as Clocks, Resets, Power-Sequencing, Power Management, Interrupts, Interconnects, Boot, Virtualization, Security, System Performance, IO technologies, (PCIE, Ethernet, etc), Platform integration. Good understanding of ASIC design/verification/implementation flows You are comfortable communicating and solving issues at all levels of definition from micro-architecture to IP subsystems, SOC integration, system level to software architecture. Excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills, to work with others and build consensus Amazing analytical and independent problem-solving skills System C or C++ development skills, or relevant programming experience Proven record of implementing processes and methodologies Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)15+ years of industry experience The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires that NVIDIA provide the compensation range and benefits offered for this position if performed in Colorado. The base salary range for this position in Colorado is $223,200.00 - 306,900.00 USD. NVIDIA also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
