patient outcomes. Offer a low-cost ultrasound-as-a-service
subscription that includes ultrasound device, intuitive software,
and a customizable platform addressing multiple clinical market
segments.
As Software Leader, you will be responsible for all elements of
software platform: mobile, web, cloud, data science and AI. You
will initially manage a small team of on-shore and off-shore
engineers, serve as a senior individual contributor within the team
and then help grow the team over time.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the design, development and delivery of company's software
platform (Re-Platforming)
Build a strong team of software and quality engineers
Assume a hands-on role while growing the team
Work effectively with other core functions, including Product
Management, Hardware and Firmware to deliver the complete
solution
Ensure industry best Agile software practices are put in place and
enforced
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum BS degree in computer science or related disciplines
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
Experience managing a team of at least 5 engineers
Experience managing remote developers
Demonstrated ability to hire great talent
Hands-on experience building cross platform mobile apps (React
Native preferred)
Experience building cloud-based web applications is desired
iOS and Android knowledge helpful.
Experience developing a combined hardware / software product is
desired
Experience with medical device software development requirements is
preferred but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fully versed in Agile practices and able to mentor the team in
them
Self-driven personality, startup mindset
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn
rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques
Professional, non-political and team-oriented player; displays no
hint of arrogance
Strong personal credibility and integrity; highest level of ethics
and moral standards; honest
Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary
depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A
sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part
of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of
medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the
position offered by our client.
