Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector responsible inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. Conducts inspections of Flexible Printed Circuit Boards and Rigid flex for defects, as well as interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, etc., to verify that the product meets proper standards. Responsibilities

• Perform First Article review and create technical reports with the dimensional and test information per company, industry, and/or customer requirements.
• Utilizing a microscope, verify that various product measurements of item characteristics, such as dimensions, angles, centering, etc., are accurate per the customer requirements. Once tested, complete required inspection documentation per Company standards.
• Review product lot travelers, logs, and production records for completion and accurate traceability.
• Re-work panels/ parts if applicable and if necessary.

• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct
• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Qualifications
  • High School or equivalent work experience in cross section preparation and analysis
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of micro section analysis experience
  • Must be familiar with microscope and laboratory procedures in manufacturing environment
  • Must know computer data entry and microscope operation
  • Printed circuit board related experience preferred
