-California's Great America is casting experienced and skilled
puppeteers to perform in a stage -show that will take place for a
limited time during this year's Peanuts Celebration. Rehearsals
will start in March and the show opens in April. Puppeteer
performers will operate a well-known character puppet and must be
able to mimic iconic character traits. Seeking a diverse spectrum
of gender identities, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds who aim
to -exceed guest expectations -and provide the -highest quality of
family entertainment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
-This role is compensated at a rate of $22.50/hr. -Please bring a
photo, -performance resume, and puppet to perform with as a part of
your audition. Those who would like to be considered must attend an
in-person audition. Video submissions will not be accepted.
-Responsibilities:Using your artistic abilities and performance
talents to enrich California's Great America's atmosphere for
guests -Working as a member of a team to achieve overall atmosphere
and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directors
-Consistently performing your role as scripted and/or conceived
-Providing guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when
serving the guest or working with subordinates, including
initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving
accurate directions -Maintaining cleanliness and safety in assigned
work area and performing all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair
Safety guidelines and requirements, and reporting all unsafe or
unusual conditions to supervision -Meeting scheduling availability
requirements that include nights, weekends, and holidays -
-Fulfilling attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's
attendance policies -Adhering to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct
including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in
Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and
procedures -Performing other duties as they are assigned
-Qualifications:Availability to work all assigned rehearsal and
event dates that include weekday/weekends nights and holidays
-Puppeteering experience (required) -Emcee/Host experience
(preferred) -Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test per
Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
-Ability to pass a background check if 18 years of age or older,
which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, and DMV
-Ability to provide record of previous employment, education, and
personal references per Company policy, unless prohibited by
federal, state, or provincial law -
