autism? Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE) is looking for a
Behavior Support Associate to join our dynamic Behavioral Services
team!
PACE is a K-12 non-public school that serves individuals with
Autism Spectrum Disorders, ages 6-22.
We firmly believe that every student is an individual, so our
program is tailored around each student's particular learning style
and needs.
We aim to provide high quality programs for individuals with Autism
and its related developmental disability, so they may experience
the satisfaction and fulfillment that accompany learning,
self-expression, self-care, productive work and interpersonal and
community experiences.

Ability to effectively manage their own stress levels.
Able to work independently.
Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of specific data
collection procedures
Comfortable leading groups in training and public speaking.
Able to perform the physical requirements associated with the job
with relative ease.
Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Contribute to the development of Behavior Intervention Plans
(baseline data, recommend intervention strategies, goal
development)
Provide on the spot training, feedback, and directives to
instructional aides. Provide support to the classroom team in using
safety care techniques with students as needed.
Help identify, implement, and evaluate the most effective teaching
strategies to help our students learn.
Collect Data on a daily basis on student progress and behavior
tracking, analyze data frequently to assess the effects of teaching
procedures and interventions, as well as evaluate progress.
Must be able to maintain excellent attendance, and work well
independently, and in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred. BcaBA a plus
RBT required - registered behavior technician
Minimum of 1 years experience in working with individuals with ASD
or other disabilities. Familiarity with conducting behavioral
assessments, data collection and graphing.
Experience with implementing different behavioral strategy
(Functional Communication Training, positive reinforcement
strategies, etc). Experience with different communication devices
or systems
Strong written and verbal skills. Familiar with Microsoft
Office
Must possess and maintain a clear DOJ and FBI clearance prior to
and during employment.
Must clear a TB test prior to employment, and routinely get tested
