  Responsibilities:
  • Ability to design and implement test automation to characterize and release into production a variety of for mixed-signal Devices
  • Plan and execute device verification and characterization for future products
  • Develop and carry out experiments to prototype new technologies and system architectures
  • Work with team to design, develop and validate PCB test platform and firmware to enable automated testing
  • Perform hands-on design and debug of new hardware
  • Debugging PCBs with electronics laboratory bench instrumentation including oscilloscopes, power supplies, network analyzers, waveform generators, etc.
  • Support the bring-up of specialized programming systems overseas
  • Work with circuit design team to evaluate new silicon and specify design improvements for performance enhancements
  • Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues Requirements:
    • 5+ years of experience in Mixed-signal PCB design, including developing specifications/architectures, selecting BOM, schematic/layout design, fabrication, and bring-up/debug.
    • Masters in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. PhD preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered
    • Design using op-amps, ADCs/DACs, filters, power management ICs and topologies, and design for signal integrity.
    • Strong Fundamental knowledge and understanding of mixed-signal circuits
    • Serial communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB).
    • Excellent programming skills, including Python and/or MATLAB scripting
    • Hands-on experience with electronics laboratory bench instrumentation including oscilloscopes, digital signal analyzers, etc. Bonus:
      • High level of self-motivation and drive to make an impact
      • Software Programming experience in micro-controllers, C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB
      • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
