We develop tools for powerful, flexible and trustworthy conversational agents. Be a part of the team that builds NeMo Guardrails, an open-source toolkit for easily adding programmable guardrails to large language model-based conversational systems. NeMo Guardrails is built on Colang, a novel modeling language and dialogue system. Join us to influence and build the next generation of Conversational AI! What you'll be doing:

• Develop new deep learning models, training algorithms, and frameworks for dialogue systems using very large language models
• Publish your research at conferences (ACL, EMNLP, NAACL)
• Partner with Deep Learning & AI researchers in leading universities and industrial research labs
• Open source your models and algorithms as part of NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails What we need to see:
  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or Applied Math
  • 5+ years of proven experience
  • Advanced understanding of Deep Learning with applications in Speech Processing and NLP, and a record of publications or significant product contributions in these areas
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experienced mathematical background, especially in optimization theory, stochastic algorithms, and/or numerical methods Ways to stand out from the crowd:
    • Research or product development experience with dialogue systems
    • Systems software engineering knowledge and expertise in optimizing software for computational performance
    • Contribution to open source software projects The base salary range is $216,000 - $333,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits .
