Job Description:
A company is looking for an Eligibility Specialist I to manage
and scale their insurance offering.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify member eligibility and insurance coverage across multiple
payer plans
Resolve eligibility inquiries and maintain accurate data in
information systems
Collaborate with billing and engineering teams to improve
eligibility verification processes
Required Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in medical billing and patient services
Knowledge of EDI 270/271 transactions and insurance eligibility
verification
Experience working with insurance companies in the healthcare
provider industry
Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including formulas and
pivot tables
Understanding of HIPAA policies and regulations
