Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments.-- Your Impact

• Receives materials, equipment, supplies and packages from common carriers.--
• Processes receipts through a computer based receiving system.
• Check and receive goods against purchase orders or invoices and maintain records of received goods.
• Delivers packages to end-users when needed.
• Processes outgoing shipments through a computer based system.
• Prepares and maintains records for items shipped.--
• Provides specialty packaging for all types of materials.
• Utilizes small hand tools and requires the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, skids, and hand trucks. Your Experience
  • Requires 1-2 years of experience in shipping, both Domestic and International, receiving, basic knowledge of Inventory Control.
  • Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills are necessary.
  • High school degree is preferred.
