All of Achronix's products are supported by best-in-class EDA software tools.Position Profile Name:NPI/Production PlannerRequisition No.:5100-1004Type of Position:Regular, ExemptReports to:Production Control ManagerDepartment:OperationsLocation:Santa Clara, CAContact:hr@achronix.comAs NPI Product and Production Planner within the Achronix Semiconductor, Inc., Operations organization, you will be responsible for representing the end-to-end value chain in defining and driving successful samples planning and execution within the early lifecycle phases of new products through general availability volume production. This role is responsible for driving predictable manufacturing readiness across the supply chain by collaborating with Business Units, R&D, Product Engineering and other stakeholders to manage and deliver engineering samples, risk production and volume production.Job Description/Responsibilities

• Create and manage FPGA build plans and system PCB products with associated BOMs, routings, and planning parameters to drive supplier orders through the material requirements planning (MRP) system to meet customer demand, commit schedules and revenue goals
• Manage forecasting, balance of inventory levels, supplier loadings, product availability and lead times in support of business objectives
• Work closely with sales and marketing on pre-production sample supply and/or customer allocation to support strategic customers
• Monitor manufacturing schedule performance to plan and report manufacturing status, analyze problems related to delivery and determine root causes/solutions
• Lead ad hoc teams to resolve issues in manufacturing and demand forecasting with business planning and business lines
• Evaluate, qualify and bring-up supplier manufacturing capability for new product lines, manage supplier relationships, set priorities and ensure factory execution in support of committed customer supply
• Obtain supplier quotes, issue purchase order requests and obtain appropriate approvals, issue POs and track supply chain order commits and provide supplier invoice approval upon receipt
• Provide Operations reports to maintain visibility of revenue goals, unscheduled and scheduled backlog, WIP and inventory
• Work with all business units to establish product availability schedules and schedule new orders based on available supply
• Develop and implement scalable production control processes and work flow to enable business scaling as sales volumes increase and participate and contribute in process improvement efforts and implementation
• Facilitate shipping process for customer samples, software licenses and Evaluation KitsRequired Skills

    • Three or more years of industry experience in high technology semiconductor manufacturing planning
    • Experience in placing purchase requisitions and orders on Enterprise Resource Planning system; experience with Microsoft GP and Tensoft FSM/SemiOps a plus
    • Microsoft Office with advanced Excel experienceEducation and Experience
      • Associate, Bachelor degree or higher in supply chain, technical, or business
