Job Description:

Ultimate Staffing is looking for a Facilities Mechanic for a manufacturing company. This is a day shift role located in Santa Clara, CA with an immediate start!The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, plus overtime, and perform on-site building and facility infrastructure maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This position will also act as a lead maintenance mechanic. It will review and assign work orders, maintain service records, backup our waste handling technician, and support environmental policies and processes. Must work in a team environment with facility management, EH&S management, and manufacturing operations. This role will also interface with crucial maintenance contractors and vendors. -Responsibilities:

• Perform and manage on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and repair of our facility infrastructure
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Advise supervisor regarding equipment requirements, equipment performance, and suggestions for equipment improvements
• Project plan and manage maintenance-related projects.
• Assist production Lab repair/needs as required to support manufacturing
• Understanding of HVAC, Process Cooling, Process Heating, and Exhaust systems.
• Ability to perform routine, scheduled maintenance work such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC and property repairs.
• Provide analysis of maintenance problems, determine the cause of the issues, and repair or offer possible solutions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures required in maintenance and repair work.
• Ability to safely and adequately use power and manual hand tools.
• Skill in using personal computers, office equipment, and mobile electronics.
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and specifications, as applicable.
• CA Driver License -Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with industrial equipment maintenance and repair
  • Associates degree or expertise in Electrical, Mechanical or Construction
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process cooling water systems.
  • Self-Starter and able to work closely with a team as well as work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Willing to be on Emergency Response Team
