Job Purpose The Head of Operations and Deputy General Manager will report to the General Manager and will be based out of Shanghai. Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. You will lead a team consisting of Quality Manager, Logistics Manager, Production Manager, and Engineering Manager, oversee and further develop state of the art production and logistic processes, establish and monitor lean warehouse and lean manufacturing improvements. Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead Team consisting of Quality Manager, Logistics Manager, Production Manager, Engineering Manager
• Define, oversee and further develop state-of-the-art production and logistic processes
• Establish and monitor lean warehouse and lean manufacturing improvements
• Translate business requirements of INFICONs oversea units into harmonized processes and solutions
• Facilitate regular alignment sessions between relevant functions in China, Europe, and the USA
• Consistently communicate and reiterate processes with local team members and GM
• Regularly challenge local teams in a culturally appropriate way to drive overall performance forward
• Transfer global quality and field failure findings onto the agenda in China and ensure initiation of countermeasures, documentation, and feedback loop
• Ensuring the functionality of finished products, by systematic monitoring of the end-of-line inspections, continues improvement of the manufacturing and assembly processes in alignment with global standards
• Join and support local teams throughout pre-delivery inspection process, ensuring flawless quality of our products leading to global cost reductions
• Support for New Product Introduction with a focus on quality, cost and supply chain risk evaluation
• Support Implementation of Engineering Changes with a focus on quality and supply chain risk
• Support Cost Reduction with alternative local suppliers or DFM improvements, initiate Engineering Changes for cost reduction
• Overview and improve demand and production planning for the Factory Skills & Requirements Completed studies with a Master's Degree in business administration, engineering or a comparable course of study with several years of professional experience in the areas of operations and logistics.
