About the Role: We are looking for an Electrical Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance & Calibration team. In this role you will troubleshoot and repair complex manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom environment.

This role will be located at our facility in Santa Clara, California.

Pay & Benefits:

  • $42 - $50 per hour
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for evening and weekend shifts
  • This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night and weekend shifts (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour)

    Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot, repairing and installing production manufacturing equipment
    • Perform preventative, predictive maintenance and calibrations on manufacturing equipment
    • Ensure Quality System requirements are being met
    • Order materials or services and working with outside vendors
    • Maintain certifications and Training for all materials and services used
    • Work independently and in teams and supporting other facilities as necessary
    • Troubleshoot electrical problems on manufacturing equipment
    • Document and signing-off on completed maintenance activities including time, parts, and description of work in CMMS (EAM and BMRAM)
    • Perform all required tasks in alignment with Quality System requirements


      Required Qualifications:
      • 2 year technical degree or equivalent
      • Minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing facility working on electro-mechanical, automated equipment
      • Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Infor EAM, BMram)
      • Experience performing scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration activities that require following specific steps
      • Proficient with effective oral & written communication skills, proficient computer skills (including Word, Excel and Email)
      • Proficient in reading and working from mechanical/electrical drawings diagrams and models
      • Clear understanding of OSHA, NEC, and NFPA codes
      • Ability to work in a clean room environment including the regular/daily use of full cleanroom suit (coveralls, head cover, shoe covers, beard cover as needed)
      • Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs
      • Ability to travel up to 5%

        Desired Qualifications:
        • Background in sustaining automated manufacturing equipment
        • Electro-Mechanical Experience
        • In depth knowledge of PLC's and automated controls with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical process equipment
