About the Role: We are looking for an Senior Line Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance & Calibration team. In this role, you will sustain, troubleshoot and repair complex manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom environment. Standard hours for this role are day shift, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., M-F.

This role will be located at our facility in Santa Clara, California.

Pay and Benefits:

  • $43 - $48 per hour
  • This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).

    • T roubleshoot and repair complex manufacturing equipment within a clean room environment
    • Respond to maintenance service calls, perform scheduled and unscheduled work, installations, and enhancements of machinery and equipment
    • Ensure Quality System requirements are being met
    • Work with multiple teams across the division including production, skilled trades, and technical associates with the dual purpose of maximizing schedule efficiency and minimizing impact to manufacturing
    • Document work performed per procedures
    • Follow, write, and revise M&C standard operating procedures
    • Support other facilities with electrical controls technician needs as necessary
    • Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
    • Perform additional responsibilities as required within the scope of the position
      Required Qualifications:
      • Completion of an Electrical Controls Technician (or equivalent) apprentice program or 2 year technical degree and minimum of 1 year hands on experience or a minimum of 4 years experience in electrical controls and/or automation
      • Electrical experience up to 480 volts, and understand electronics/electrical theory
      • Experience with the following: Pneumatics, motors and gear drives/controls, automation, temperature controls, water systems, pumps, and Product Life Cycle
      • Troubleshoot and repair of complex equipment within a manufacturing environment
      • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls systems, drawings/schematics, and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, timers, calipers, etc.)
      • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Power Point, Word), and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
      • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure
      • Ability to work weekends and off-hours to meet customer needs
      • Ability to work at heights of at least 15 feet, lift 50 lbs., and work in challenging locations
      • Ability to travel up to 5%
        Desired Qualifications:
        • Electro-Mechanical experience
        • Background in sustaining automated manufacturing equipment
        • In depth knowledge of PLC's and automated controls with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical process equipment
