ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Building Engineer, you will perform general preventative and
reactive maintenance and repairs of all equipment and building
related equipment. Applies several trade skills such as mechanical,
plumbing, electrical, commercial lighting, HVAC, refrigeration and
operations management. Operates, inspects, and maintains mechanical
and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems in assigned
facilities to achieve most efficient results. Assures that
equipment is being maintained safely. Minimizes down time through
proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance. Ideal
candidates will have prior experience as a Refrigeration
Technician, HVAC/R Service Technician or Refrigeration Maintenance
Technician.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United
States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the

Education and Experience
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES
Certification in two or more of the following: Electrical,
Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems, process controls,
mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or
engine repair as well as CFC Certification.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping,
standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to
lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve
slightly complex problems.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to
apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
Outlook, etc.)
California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to
determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training
and experience. The salary range is $50 - $55 per hour. The
compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the
candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.
