The Role & The Team
Druva is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated business development
leader with 2-5 years of sales/biz dev management experience to
manage and scale our rapidly expanding Sales Development
organization. This position's primary focus is leading the Sales
Development teams globally in a fast-paced atmosphere with a
rapidly expanding client base. The ideal candidate has a proven
record of managing and building a team of top performers and will
coach, mentor, and manage performance of SDR in support of overall
sales growth and customer satisfaction. The candidate must combine
strategic thinking with the operational oversight needed to realize
the strategy
What You Will Do
- Work with demand generation teams to ensure that the right
inquiries are flowing to the SDR organization
- Build and scale the Outbound motion for target accounts.
- Define metrics to drive behavior of the organization and ensure
dashboards are built for reps and management.
- Responsible for creating and iterating the sales development
process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training and
enablement.
- Hire and build a team of self-motivated and hungry sales
development representatives.
- Establish and enforce SDR processes to maximize team efficiency
and effectiveness. ---
- Design and implement a scalable enablement program for existing
and new employees.
- Lead day to day operations of the Global SDR team and create
daily accountability for managers regarding sales objectives.
- Provide team-wide, highly visible leadership and communication
including current prospects, competitive information, and campaign
feedback to management.
- Make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process,
efficiency and productivity.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven track record of delivering sales pipeline at large
enterprise accounts managing outbound prospecting teams.
- Experience leading and developing a global inbound sales
development team at scale (> 30 team members).
- Power user of salesforce.com and SDR cadence management
software.
- Ability to drive cross functional alignment and coordination
across sales and marketing teams.
- Ability to attract, retain, and motivate exceptional SDRs and
SDR managers.
- Plus point to having a general understanding of the Modern Data
Protection landscape.
- A broad knowledge of Cloud and SaaS.
- Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Performance Indicators.
- Improvement in Net ARR pipeline values.
- Sales Accepted Opportunity attainment vs. goal.
- Improvement in MQL conversion rates.
- Improvement in sales close rates for SDR generated
Opportunities.
- Improvement in SDR Efficiency and return on investment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant sales leadership experience
- SDR / BDR experience
- Proven record of building outbound strategies
- Ability to successfully manage people to achieve performance
goals
- Robust Salesforce understanding of marketing campaigns and
sales metrics
- Experience with outbound sales tools (Gong, LinkedIn, Zoominfo,
Orum, others)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management
skills
