and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to
actively expand our network of referral partners and secure new
business opportunities within a defined territory. As a BDR, you
will be on the front lines of our growth strategy, building and
nurturing critical relationships that drive ERI's continued market
leadership. This role demands a proactive approach, exceptional
interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to establishing trust
and credibility. Requirements: What You'll Do: Proactive
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify and pursue ideal
leads within our target audience, including Mitigation &
Restoration Companies, Insurance Adjusters, Property Management
Companies, and other Trades (HVAC, General Contractors). Focus on
larger projects with high profit potential and opportunities for
sole-source contracts. Utilize various methods for proactive
outreach, including targeted office visits, networking at industry
conferences, trade shows, planned events, and potentially outbound
sales calls (cold-calling), SMS/email campaigns. Maintain an active
pursuit of 5-10 Priority Prospects at any given time, understanding
their primary services and potential for asbestos/lead
opportunities. Relationship Management & Cultivation (Referral
Partners): Manage and cultivate a portfolio of 60-70 referral
partners within your assigned territory. Build and maintain strong
relationships based on trust, credibility, strong customer service,
and appreciation through consistent, face-to-face interactions.
Ensure a minimum of two "effective touches" per referral partner
per month (e.g., office visits, lunches/outings, appreciation
events, training presentations). Show appreciation for referrals
and focus on shared experiences to deepen partnerships. Market
Insight & Strategy: Act as an internal business consultant by
gathering critical information from partners and prospects
regarding their main source of leads, how they assign abatement,
decision-makers, and satisfaction with current contractors.
Identify what it would take for prospects to give ERI an
opportunity and potentially become an exclusive partner. Provide
feedback and insights into market trends, competitor activities,
and potential growth areas, including opportunistic areas like
Government Entities and Catastrophe response. Documentation &
Reporting: Diligently record all account activities, "touches," and
prospecting efforts in Salesforce. Participate actively in weekly
business development meetings, providing updates on referral
partners and progress with assigned prospects, and contributing to
KPI analysis. Assist in identifying action items for the next
period and contribute to the overall prospect funnel process.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and marketing to
leverage educational trainings, marketing partnerships, and online
SEO initiatives to support business development efforts.
Collaborate on awareness/outreach campaigns to adjusters, previous
customers, and new markets. What We're Looking For: Experience: 3-5
years of proven success in a Business Development, Outside Sales,
Account Management, or Referral Partnership Management role.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales/lead
generation targets. Prior experience in the restoration,
construction, environmental services, insurance adjustment, or
property management industries is highly preferred. Skills:
Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills with a
natural ability to establish trust and rapport. Strong
communication and presentation skills (verbal and written). Highly
proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven with a "hunter"
mentality. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
for managing multiple accounts and tracking activities. Proficiency
in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for activity logging and
pipeline management. Ability to work independently in the field and
as part of a collaborative team. Proficiency with MS Office Suite
(Outlook, Word, Excel). Attributes: Resilient, persistent, and able
to navigate challenges and objections effectively. High level of
integrity and professionalism. Commitment to understanding and
promoting ERI's commitment to safety and quality. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is
preferred, or equivalent experience. Other Requirements: Valid
driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent local
travel within the assigned territory. Ability to travel to industry
