As part of our dedicated IT & Cybersecurity team, the successful candidate will contribute to safeguarding our digital and embedded systems across various operational environments. This role is indispensable in implementing robust protection strategies, ensuring the integrity and resilience of our embedded systems against ever-evolving cyber threats. Design, develop, prototype, and test embedded hardware and software systems for security purposes. Implement and maintain firewall and intrusion detection systems on embedded platforms. Work together with cybersecurity analysts to address vulnerabilities within the hardware and software layers. Stay up-to-date with the latest in embedded system technology and threats to anticipate and counteract potential security breaches. Draft reports and document fixes for security breaches as well as maintain a keen detail on the development changes for audit purposes. Provide comprehensive support and training to internal teams regarding new technologies and security protocols. In-depth knowledge of embedded systems architecture and embedded C/C++ programming. Mastery of cybersecurity principles, methods, and tools applied to embedded platforms. Proficiency in using hardware like FPGA, Raspberry Pi, or Arduino for simulations and implementations of secure environment setups. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about security within complex systems. Effective communication skills for elaborating technical details to non-technical staff.
